Ingredients:


1 kg boneless chicken

1 cup oil

2 cups finely chopped tomatoes

2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

2 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste

1 cup yogurt

2 cups water

2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

2 tbsp chopped fresh mint

Instructions:


Heat the oil in a handi or large pot over medium heat.

Add the onions and fry until golden brown.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes.

Add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.

Add the red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the chicken and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is browned on all sides.

Stir in the yogurt and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the water and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

Garnish with cilantro and mint and serve hot with rice.

Cooking tips:


This recipe can be made with bone-in chicken, but it will take longer to cook.

You can also use chicken thighs or drumsticks instead of boneless chicken.

तेल गरम करें और प्याज, हरी मिर्च, लौंग, धनिया पत्ता मिलाएँ।
