Bread Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:-


8 slices of bread

2 cups of cooked basmati rice

1 onion, finely chopped

1 tomato, finely chopped

1/2 cup of peas

1/2 cup of diced carrots

1/2 cup of diced potatoes

1/2 cup of diced green bell pepper

1/2 cup of diced red bell pepper

1/2 cup of diced yellow bell pepper

1/2 cup of diced green beans

1/2 cup of diced cauliflower

1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp of red chili powder

1 tsp of garam masala powder

1 tsp of cumin powder

1 tsp of coriander powder

Salt, to taste

2 tbsp of oil

1 cup of water

1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

Heat oil in a large pan and add the onions. Cook until they turn golden brown.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.

Add the tomatoes and cook for another minute.

Add the red chili powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for a minute.

Add the vegetables (peas, carrots, potatoes, bell peppers, green beans, and cauliflower) and cook for 5-7 minutes.

Add the cooked basmati rice and mix well.

Add the water and bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 10-15 minutes.

Take the pan off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Take the bread slices and cut off the edges. Cut the slices in half or in quarters.

Place the bread pieces on top of the rice mixture. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for another 10-15 minutes.

Take the pan off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
